De Ford Okra

2 tsp garlic, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 medium shallot, chopped
2 pounds okra, washed and cut into 1/2'” pieces
28 oz tomatoes, chopped
15 oz great northern beans, with liquid, or use chickpeas
2 jalapeno chile peppers, chopped
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric
2 tsp garmam masala, 2 or 3 to taste
1 tsp cumin powder, 1 or 2 to taste
1 Tbsp coriander leaf, dried

Saute first three ingredients in olive oil until clear.  Add all other ingredients and cook until tender.  Serve over brown rice.  May need to add liquid.

This will knock your soxs off!
