Welcome to the Bauerle Family website!  The families of Wilhelm, Heinrich, and Hartmann Bauerle are represented in this website.  We are a large, close knit family that has stayed connected across the miles and through the years.   In 1977, a cookbook was used as a vehicle to reach out to family members to see how they were, and what they were up to.  They were asked to send a letter and a favorite recipe.  That cookbook, with family notes on the recipes, was adopted by not only the Bauerle family, but by nearly 10,000 others as well! 

We are hard at work on a new reunion and a new cookbook.  This website will accumulate the family stories like this one about Wilhelm Bauerle as you send them in, and the recipes have been collected into a 2008 Bauerle Family Cookbook.   Read our stories, learn about that original cookbook, pre-order the new one, or send in a Bauerle family story.
